Our story
Hi, I'm Judy, owner of Ripley's Australian Labradoodles and I have been an animal lover since I was a child. My very first job, when I was 12 years old was volunteering at my local RSPCA and fundraising for them. I used to cycle there after school and during the holidays, but I found it upsetting to see dogs in kennels. I grew up with dogs, Rottweiler's Tibetan Spaniels and rescue dogs. Animal welfare is extremely important to me and we raise every puppy with the love and care they deserve.
I purchased my first Australian Labradoodle in 2008, Teddy (Pictured below). He literally changed my life. I fell in love with the breed and started to become a breeder. I have been breeding much loved family pets for over 10 years, originally as a hobby but when I was made redundant from the computer industry I decided to become a full time breeder. I have a very good reputation. All my dogs either live with me or reside in their guardian homes. For the last five years I have been breeding full time. In my opinion there is no breed as wonderful as an Australian Labradoodle. Australian Labradoodles are special, they are so intrinsically tuned to us. They make great therapy dogs, in fact many of our dogs are therapy dogs and visit hospitals and schools on a regular basis. They also are a pet the whole family can enjoy.

Not every Australian Labradoodle is created equally so I can't stress enough the importance of buying from a breeder that is doing all the health testing (not just one test and then claiming that they health test) and raising the puppies in a family home.

Purchasing a puppy is a commitment, deciding on a breeder should be a huge part of that process. Unfortunately with the rise in the cost of puppies there as been an influx of inexperienced breeders quite often with fake or not multigenerational Australian Labradoodles. We have been developing our line for over 10 years. Breeding is not a one time thing for us, we are professional breeders that put our heart and soul into our puppies and we know our line completely.

It's very important that buying a puppy is an enjoyable process after all they will be a much loved member of your household for years to come. We take this incredibly seriously. All our puppy families get to watch their puppy on our 24 hour webcam from birth to puppy collection. This is such an insight into what we do here at Ripley's, showing the love and care we give our puppies. You are also invited to be a member of their litter's WhatsApp group. This is a great support resource as being a puppy mum is a full time job in those early weeks. We hope you choose a Ripley's but whatever you decide having a dog was the best decision for our family.

Here at Ripley's Australian Labradoodles we believe every dog deserves a good life this is why all our breeding dogs lead happy fulfilling lives and are not kept in kennels to be used just for breeding and then discarded.

Health & Temperament
Here at Ripley's Australian Labradoodles we Hip, Elbow, eye & DNA test our dogs. We always breed for health and temperament first to ensure our dogs produce the very best this breed has to offer.
