Check List

Puppy Insurance - Please see below referral codes that will give you a discount.

Please find below link to a shopping list you may find useful.

  1. Register with a vet - please ensure you choose a vet with a compatible vaccine to Nobivac and one that provides Lepto 2.  Puppy will have had it's first DHP Nobivac vaccine, no Lepto vaccine unless you have requested us not to. Book puppy in for their vet check.

  2. Order raw food from Able & Natural Instinct (once the certificate has been given to you). Certificate for Natural Instinct will be issued on puppy pick day.  They are very quick with their delivery and it's normally within 2-3 days.

  3. Set up your crate. Ideally by your bed

  4. Make sure you remove a pack of raw food the night before puppy arrives home.

  5. In your puppy pack you will receive a sample of Gentle and instructions on how to purchase a pack at a reduced rate.  This is enough for a good week especially if you are transitioning from raw.  PLEASE WAIT AND PURCHASE ONCE YOUR PUP IS HOME USING THE INSTRUCTIONS IN THE PACK.

  6. Puppy can have their 2nd vaccine at 10 weeks old and not before, please do not worm puppies on the same day as their vaccine as this can overwhelm them.

  7. Puppies will continue to need to be wormed at 8 & 12 weeks and then monthly until they are 6 months old.

Temperament Testing

We completed temperament testing today.  The litter is incredibly consistent and there is very little to choose between them.  All puppies are suitable for families with children (scored 3's or 4's) all are suitable to be with other dogs and barely anything to choose between them, which will make it so much harder for you when you come to see them.  Both mum and dad have very similar temperaments and so this is not a surprise.

We have decided to keep Lilly.

Girls:

Ginny d. pink collar -  (3) - She is the smallest and is super friendly, she came with tail up and wagging, would suit all family types.

Molly green collar - (4)  - She is the lightest with some white markings, she is the quietest of the three girls but would still be suitable with a family with young children or an older family alike, she doesn't have a high prey drive and could be therapy quality.

Boys:

Sirius - Blue collar -  (4) - The smallest of the boys, a lovely solid red, doesn't have a high prey drive, would like a quieter home or a home with children and would thrive in both

Flitwick - Green collar - (3-4) - He has some lovely white markings and he is a very dark red, super chilled temperament and playful.

Albus (4) - He has a small white marking and is a lovely red, he is the quietest of the boys but still suitable for all families I think would make a lovely therapy puppy.

Malfoy - yellow collar - (3-4).  I wish he was a girl, just a stunning colour that has got darker as the weeks have gone by.  Very friendly and along with Flitwick playful and would suit all homes.
